This Celtic "Protection" pendant has an open cut design with an oxidized patina finish and resembles a crest-like symbol. For those who believe as the warriors did in ancient times, these amulets were thought to ward off evil spirits and protect the wearer. Crafted of solid sterling silver, this protection pendant measures 5/8 inch wide x 1 5/16 inch in length (1 11/16 inches including the bail), and has the word "Protection" engraved on the back, as well as a generous thickness of 1/16 inch. Suspended on a 24 inch oxidized sterling silver round box chain.
